Treatment Coordinator
Overall Responsibility
The Treatment Coordinator is an essential role in our administrative staff. They are responsible for ensuring patients are receiving a 5-Star experience from the initial phone call to check-in and through check-out.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Daily, weekly, and monthly duties include:
- Managing telephone calls, controlling, and scheduling patient appointments including gathering patient insurance information and updating current info
- Confirming and documenting patient appointments
- Ensuring the next day’s schedule is filled for the doctor and hygienist, utilizing various reports
- Reinforcing the financial policy of the office and ensuring payments are current
- Checking in patients utilizing dental software and ensuring proper paperwork is given and filled out by patients
- Entering transactions and posting payment at the time of patient check-out
- Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility and updating info in systems
- Maintaining electronic records for patients (scanning and sorting documents)
- Sharing maintenance duties and keeping the workspace neat and clean
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements
- Denticon experience is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting
- Ability to lift 15-20 lbs
