Dr. Joe Fortkort is originally from Lincolnton, North Carolina, but has called the Triangle home for the past 10 years. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both his undergraduate studies and dental school, making him a proud double Tar Heel. With several close friends and family members in the area, the community holds a special place in his heart.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Fortkort enjoys spending time with his fiancée, whether they are cooking together, exploring new places, or finding a new TV show to watch. He is also an avid sports fan and especially enjoys cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team.
