Dr. Wade Townsend was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. As a life-long Tarheel, he was proud to graduate with distinction from UNC School of Dentistry. He then went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed extensive broad scope oral and maxillofacial surgery training at locations including the Elvis Presley Level 1 Trauma Hospital, Methodist-Lebonheur Children’s Hospital, and the world-renowned St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Townsend met his wife, Gina, also a Raleigh native, in 2010 and they have 2 wonderful children. They are beyond excited to be raising their family in the City of Oaks! Dr. Townsend enjoys spending time with his family and friends, enjoying the local arts scene, and finding his next adventure.
