Dr. Taylor spent 17 years living and working in Hong Kong before returning to the United States in 2024. He has a passion for travel and enjoys experiencing new cultures. He is also committed to giving back and has performed volunteer oral surgery in rural China and Cambodia. Exercise plays a major role in his free time—he has completed 11 marathons and is a three-time Ironman Triathlon finisher. A drummer since the age of 10, he enjoys playing in bands and most recently performed with a grunge cover band while living in Hong Kong.
A proud father of two, Dr. Taylor’s daughter is a sophomore at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and his son is a sophomore in high school.
Dr. Greg Taylor grew up in Winston-Salem and comes from a healthcare background. His mother was a family physician, and his father was a general dentist. He earned his DDS in 1993 from the University of North Carolina and went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1997.
