Dr. Roy Kim graduated from Virginia Tech University in 2008 and then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2012. During his time at Tufts, Dr. Kim participated in volunteer opportunities with a nonprofit organization called Dentists for Humanity which served underprivileged Haiti residents with the dental care they needed. Dr. Kim joined Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in late 2017 and truly enjoys getting to know each and every one of his patients on a first-name basis.

In his spare time, Dr. Kim enjoys daily runs and spending time with his family & friends.

• Do you have any family pets? “Yes, I have three cats named Tori, Bori, and Lori.”
• What is one of your favorite vacations? “I really enjoy traveling, especially to the Caribbean so I can sit on the beach and relax.”
• Where was your very first job? “My first job was making subs at Subway! Eat Fresh!”
• What is your favorite type of Dentistry? I enjoy Restorative Dentistry (Crowns, Bridges, Dentures, etc.) and anytime I get to work with kids for their first dental visit.
• Why did you move to NC?
  “I honestly love North Carolina because the air feels so fresh and clean compared to where I grew up & I was so excited to join the Lane & Associates team.”
