Partials, on the other hand, are used when some natural teeth remain in the mouth. They are a removable appliance consisting of replacement teeth attached to a pink or gum-colored base, often connected by metal framework to the existing natural teeth. Partials help fill gaps from missing teeth and prevent the remaining teeth from shifting, improving both function and appearance. Both types of dentures are custom-made to fit comfortably and restore a natural-looking smile.
