Dr. Elizabeth McMichael

Dr. Elizabeth McMichael is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-focused care. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, she is the proud daughter of two U.S. Army veterans, a background that instilled in her discipline, service, and resilience from an early age.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Meharry Medical College, where she served as President of the Ewell Neil Dental Research Society and was recognized with numerous awards for her research and leadership. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry, serving as Chief Resident while caring for medically complex Veterans through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. McMichael is passionate about continuing education and has completed advanced training through the Pankey Institute and the AAID MaxiCourse in implant dentistry.

Dr. McMichael volunteers regularly at free dental clinics and mission-based events, such as the North Carolina Missions of Mercy, and mentors the youth through STEM-focused organizations. Dr. McMichael’s approach to dentistry is guided by empathy, precision, and a sincere desire to serve. She strives to make every patient feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling and cooking, and cherishes time with her husband—also a dentist—their daughter, and their energetic German Shepherd.
