Stephanie :
Hi, everybody. So today we are super excited to be doing an unboxing of the quip toothbrush. If you are on social media at all, you should know what this toothbrush is because it is everywhere. Today we have kids’ toothbrushes and some of the adult toothbrushes. Which one should we open first?

Alicia:
Let’s do the kid’s first, guys.

Stephanie :
Okay. You open that one.

Alicia:
So we’re unboxing them. Super excited. Oh, my gosh. These are two of my favorite colors. So we have the pink and green right now.

Stephanie :
I think they also come in purple and blue.

Alicia:
And blue.

Stephanie :
So very fun-

Alicia:
Fun colors!

Stephanie :
packaging. It would look really cute in an Easter basket, wouldn’t it?

Alicia:
Oh, they would! So let me see. Pull open. Okay, let’s see. This is fun. Okay. Oh, oh.

Stephanie :
Okay, they sealed really tight.

Alicia:
They are sealed really tight, which is really good. Okay. Then we open it, and there is this really cute… I’m going to take it out. Oh, oh, oh. Okay. It’s like this really cute card that says, “Quip. Brush better, young brushers.” So it’s really dedicated to the kids. It’s really cute.

Stephanie :
Colorful.

Alicia:
And colorful. So when you open it, there’s a little panel about getting started with the toothbrush, about the toothbrush, the bristles and more about the actual brush, which we’ll describe to you. So you can read this yourselves. But…

Stephanie :
Very cool.

Alicia:
Yeah, and really cute little information pamphlet. It’s really cute.

Stephanie :
I love that.

Alicia:
So we’ll take it open, the kid’s toothbrush. It’s really cute and it’s own little carrying case. And it is green. It has a green handle accent. So I’m going to open it and you twist the top off.

Stephanie :
Cute.

Alicia:
All right, cute.

Stephanie :
This is great for travel.

Alicia:
It is awesome for travel.

Stephanie :
So cool.

Alicia:
It’s so cute you guys. It’s super trending on social media right now. So make sure you guys take a look. There’s a strip too, where you can stick the stand on your mirror, so that’s cool. That’s really cool.

Stephanie :
It’s so pretty.

Alicia:
Here’s the brush. It’s really cute. Oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh. Okay. You press the little Q to get it started, and it vibrates. It’s an electric, vibrating toothbrush, so…

Stephanie :
I think it vibrates for two minutes.

Alicia:
For two minutes.

Stephanie :
So you get your full good teeth cleaning in there.

Alicia:
Yes. So the brushes, the bristles, for the kid’s is really small. I think it’s perfect for their mouth and accurately brushing their teeth. So that’s really cool. And I think it takes two triple-A batteries. I will double-check that for you, but I think it’s two triple-A batteries. So that just sticks right inside the holder. You can put it on your mirror, you can take this, close it up.

Stephanie :
Two triple-A batteries.

Alicia:
Two triple-A batteries, awesome. And it comes with a three month supply of…

Stephanie :
Watermelon.

Alicia:
Watermelon anticavity Toothpaste.

Stephanie :
Yum, I think.

Alicia:
Yum. Okay. I’m going to try it, actually.

Stephanie :
Oh.

Alicia:
So quip recommends that these kids’ toothbrushes can be used up to eight years old. But I think it just depends. I think it’d be fine.

Stephanie :
Yeah.

Alicia:
if they’re a little bit older than that.

Alicia:
So…

Stephanie :
What also comes with it.

Alicia:
Oh.

Stephanie :
While she’s doing that! You should know that it also comes with a little travel-size toothpaste too.

Alicia:
So!

Stephanie :
So I think it’s super cute for sleepovers and traveling. You don’t have to find anything at all.

Alicia:
Yeah.

Stephanie :
It comes together in one little kit. Very awesome.

Alicia:
Okay.

Stephanie :
It’s cute. I love their packaging. It’s just sleek and simple and simplistic. But it’s also super cool.

Alicia:
Okay, I’m going to open the seal on the toothpaste because I didn’t think about that.

Stephanie :
Do you want me to open it? You have to…

Alicia:
I’ve got it.

Stephanie :
All right.

Alicia:
Okay. Okay, I’m going to make a mess.

Stephanie :
That sounds fun.

Alicia:
This is our fun.

Stephanie :
This is fun.

Alicia:
Okay, so I want you guys to see. I’m going to put it on here. It goes on white even though it is watermelon flavored.

Stephanie :
You smell it. You brush, and I’ll smell it. Fresh.

Alicia:
It smells so good.

Stephanie :
Smells just like watermelon.

Alicia:
So I’m going to press the little Q.

Stephanie :
Oh. It’s actually really tasty. This is not that-

Alicia:
Oh!

Stephanie :
that gross. You don’t like it?

Alicia:
I love it. Oh, good!

Stephanie :
It’s very tasty. Okay. Must have for all kids. This is really good.

Alicia:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

Stephanie :
I would use that.

Alicia:
It’s really good.

Stephanie :
It’s not sugary tasting.

Alicia:
Mm-mm (negative).

Stephanie :
It tastes very… I don’t know what you call it. What is it? Jolly rancher watermelon.

Alicia:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

Stephanie :
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

Alicia:
Okay, pause. I’m going to go spit. Hey guys, we’re back. So, all in all, I think this is super cute for kids.

Stephanie :
Pretty.

Alicia:
And I think the bristles are like super accurate for children, and the toothpaste is fun. It’s not like that…

Stephanie :
Chalky?

Alicia:
yucky chalky toothpaste. So it’s super whimsical. It’s flavorful, it’s fun. I think kids would really enjoy this because they get the manual feel of a toothbrush on how to brush their teeth.

Stephanie :
Exactly.

Alicia:
But at the same time, if you like Trix it tastes like that.

Stephanie :
Has a timer.

Alicia:
And it has a timer. Everything’s kind of built-in for you.

Stephanie :
It’s awesome.

Alicia:
It’s really cute.

Stephanie :
Well, Alicia can’t have all the fun today. So I am going to take a look at one of the adult brushes. So they come in lots of very fun, would you say trendy colors?

Alicia:
Mm-hmm (affirmative).

Stephanie :
And metallics.

Alicia:
Yes.

Stephanie :
So there’s rose gold. This one’s a gold one. There’s silver, there’s slate. I think sometimes, I’ve even seen plastic handles. These are metal handles, and they come and some primary colors.

Alicia:
Yes.

Stephanie :
So again… They seal these suckers down.

Alicia:
They are sealed!

Stephanie :
Which is good because you don’t want weird stuff in your toothpaste.

Alicia:
In your toothbrush.

Stephanie :
Okay.

Alicia:
They’re sealed.

Stephanie :
Also again, same type of thing. It comes with a cool card. If you can see this one’s catered towards adults. Very cool. It shows you all the things you get in there. The same type of case. So very, very similar to the kids’. The main difference, I’m assuming, is the bristles size. So if you really feel and look close, there’s rubber bristles on the outside and then soft results in the middle. So that’s very cool, and the whole handle… It’s amazing. It’s really in there. Well-

Alicia:
The packaging is so good.

Stephanie :
So it’s very cool. It’s sleek and modern.

Alicia:
Yes, it’s very modern.

Stephanie :
It’s almost kind of mature. Very cool. Again, you press the little button on it there, and it comes with batteries already in there. So that’s pretty cool.

Stephanie :
And another thing about quip that you can do is sign up for their subscription package, which is awesome. If you are like me, I have way too many subscription boxes coming to my house.

Alicia:
So many.

Stephanie :
So many. So they have one where you can get your refills and your toothpaste shipped to you every three months. So that is super cool. Okay. Also, have a full-size toothpaste.

Alicia:
A little travel size.

Stephanie :
And a travel size. It’s so cute. And this is mint, and I’ve actually tried this before, and it’s very subtle mint. It’s not overpowering. You know sometimes, you brush your teeth in the morning, and then you have to drink something afterward, or the toothpaste is so in your mouth that it tastes bad. This actually leaves it pretty clean and fresh feeling. So awesome.

Alicia:
So quip, we are a really huge fan. Lane & Associates exclusively is offering the kids’ quip toothbrush here for our new patients. It’s awesome. It’s really, really cute, you guys. So if you guys have not heard anything about quip, go to their social media, look them up. We met them at the… What conference was it?

Stephanie :
Greater New York.

Alicia:
Greater New York dental meeting. And I’m telling you, the line was wrapped around the booth because quip was just so cool, so amazing. They had interactive things for us to try, and I just think it’s really fun.

Stephanie :
It is about-

Alicia:
It’s something different. Me personally, I love a manual toothbrush. So that it vibrates, and I can really brush my teeth really good,

Stephanie :
And it’s cost-effective.

Alicia:
It is very cost-effective.

Stephanie :
It’s very cost-effective compared to some others. I think it’s very cool.

Alicia:
So we stamp Yes!

Stephanie :
So just to let you know, we are not only just giving away the kids’ quip brushes to all new patients at Lane & Associates Family Dentistry… Adult patients also. So look them up online. Go to the Lane & Associates webpage to see more about that special at LaneDDS.com.
