Petar V. Georgiev, DDS completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University, earning a BS in Human Science in 2009 and then a DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017. After graduating, Dr. Georgiev worked as a general dentist in Richmond, VA for 4 years. It was during this time that he developed a deep interest in helping people in pain, igniting his passion for endodontics. Driven by his desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of his patients, Petar decided to further his education and experience in endodontics. He completed a two-year endodontic residency program at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry, where he exclusively dedicated his time on making root canal and endodontic microsurgical procedures as effective and comfortable as possible.

Dr. Georgiev firmly believes in the power of the dental profession to positively impact. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in dental community organizations, starting from his time in dental school. He shares his commitment to community care with Lane and Associate’s broader mission as well as other organizations such as Missions of Mercy.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Georgiev finds joy and fulfillment in his hobbies and interests. He is a self proclaimed foodie, always eager to explore new culinary experiences and savor novel flavors. Also, Dr. Georgiev is an aid rock climber, finding both challenge and connection to nature. Dr. Georgiev shares his life with his wife, who is currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of North Carolina. Together, they are the proud parents of two adorable cats named Tortilla and Sophie Socksalot, who bring warmth and laughter into their home.
