Dr. Wallace Carrillo-Medina

D.M.D.

Dr. Wallace Carrillo-Medina is originally from Puerto Rico but has had the privilege of calling several places home throughout his life. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2009 and later pursued advanced training at the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, where he obtained a Master of Science in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine in 2019.

In 2010, Dr. Carrillo-Medina moved to New York before relocating with his family to beautiful North Carolina in 2015. He is happily married and a devoted father to two wonderful children—a daughter and a son—who bring joy and excitement to his life.

Outside of his profession, Dr. Carrillo-Medina cherishes spending quality time with his family, whether exploring the outdoors, engaging in meaningful conversations, or simply enjoying moments of relaxation together. Sundays hold a special place in his heart, as he values attending church to reconnect spiritually and reflect on life.

An avid golfer, Dr. Carrillo-Medina enjoys the challenge and tranquility the sport provides. He is also a passionate baseball fan and can often be found cheering for the High Point Rockers or the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Beyond sports, he has a deep appreciation for history, philosophy, and theology—subjects that fuel his curiosity and lifelong love of learning.

North Carolina, with its welcoming community and rich culture, has become a true home for Dr. Carrillo-Medina. He takes great pleasure in exploring all that the state has to offer while continuing to grow personally and professionally.
