Dr. Alexander Crain

Dr. Alex Crain is a Wisconsin native who relocated to North Carolina and joined Lane & Associates in 2020. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Biology, Spanish, and Political Science in 2015 and Marquette University School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2020.  

Dr. Crain is also a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He was also the Class of 2020 Vice President during his studies at Marquette University, a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and received prestigious recognitions with multiple scholarships: Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation/Alliance (2020), Matthews Dental Scholarship (2019), Dr. T & L Dean Scholarship (2018), Dr. Ray Schweiger Scholarship (2018), and Delta Dental (2017).  

In his spare time, Dr. Crain loves spending time with family and friends including his wife Natalie, who is a Psychiatric Resident at UNC Hospitals, and his dog Charlie. He can also be found hiking, camping, golfing, and cheering on his Wisconsin sports teams as an admittedWisconsonite/“cheesehead” (Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers).

“I stumbled on dentistry fairly late in my education, but I am glad to have found my calling and love the ongoing relationships I make with all of my patients, both adults, and children. I am excited to have relocated to North Carolina and am already enjoying the warmer weather, outdoor activities, and the opportunity to explore all that NC has to offer!”
