Dr. Marilia Ryan

Dr. Marilia Ryan attended the University of Notre Dame and then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine while also obtaining a Master of Arts in Science and Dental Education. Dr. Ryan graduated with the highest academic honors and was inducted into the prestigious National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of California, Los Angeles honing her skills in cosmetic dentistry and the treatment of medically complex patients, requiring full-mouth rehabilitation and implant therapy. Dr. Ryan remained at UCLA as a Clinical Educator and outside of her academic position worked in private practice offices in Beverly Hills and Studio City with a focus on cosmetic and implant restorative dentistry.

Dr. Ryan recently moved to North Carolina with her husband and daughter to be closer to family. She speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish fluently. Outside of the office, she enjoys drawing, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. Dr. Ryan is a member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society and stays current with the latest advancements in the field through continuing education courses and review of scientific literature.
