We had a fabuloso time in Downtown Raleigh for La Fiesta Del Pueblo 2018 this weekend!

El Pueblo is a nonprofit organization based in Raleigh, NC, specializing in leadership development for both youth and adults among Wake County’s growing Latinx community. Through La Fiesta del Pueblo and other cultural events, El Pueblo is able to foster multicultural understanding and appreciation of Latin American art and culture in a large, diverse audience.

VISIT LANE & ASSOCIATES AT THE RALEIGH NC GIRLS WORLD EXPO 2018!

Girls World Expo is a day-long event created by local teen girls for local teen girls – the local Girls Advisory Board is made up of teens from Raleigh who have created a unique show just for teenage girls! We have also worked closely with our local media partner, to fill the day with seminars, performances, demonstrations, and vendors that serve your needs in the Raleigh area! All of our Raleigh NC Dentist offices will be present at the event.

The 2018 N.C. Pickle Festival is set for Friday and Saturday, April 27-28th. The Friday Night Downtown events run from 5 pm-10 pm, and the Festival Main Day runs Saturday from 9 am-6 pm. For complete details, go to N.C. Pickle Festival website at www.ncpicklefest.org!

The NC Pickle Festival is an event thousands look forward to year after year!

The event has so much to offer, which is what draws in such large, diverse crowds. There is something for everyone at the festival for people of all ages. Still not sold as to why you should pack the car and bring the family? Below are five reasons why you can’t miss the 2018 NC Pickle Festival.

1. Ollie’s Anthem Contest
Show how much you love pickles with a performance from the heart. We have the lyrics but need your spin. Put our words to your music, record your performance in a video and upload it. Submissions will be put up to an online vote and two of the top vote-getters will have the opportunity to perform LIVE at N.C. Pickle Festival on Saturday, April 28. The grand prize will be a year’s supply of Mt. Olive Products and $350 cash. The runner-up will receive $100 cash.

2. Foodies Galore
If you are a foodie, N.C. Pickle Fest is the place to be! The day-long festival features many food-oriented aspects. Sample delicious chili from award-winning competitors in a variety of categories or try your hand at the Pickle Eating competition! One thing is certain, you will not leave the festival with an empty stomach.

3. Great Way to Get Moving
Before you enjoy all the delicious pickles and other yummy festival food, attendees will have the opportunity to get moving. On Friday night, we offer the Cuke Patch 5K Glow Run! Start your Saturday by spinning your way through the Tour de Pickle, a bicycle race where you will ride through scenic Wayne, Duplin, and Sampson counties!

4. Family Fun for Everyone
The NC Pickle Festival is truly an event the entire family will enjoy. Catch Circus Stella, take a twirl on the carnival rides, enjoy magic shows and roaming clowns. Families can also partake in the Pickle Packing Production Challenge, ride the Pickle Train, watch the Mascot Race, check out the Student Art contest, and more. 5. UMO Artisan Village
Finally, support local artists, artisans, and craftsmen at the Artisan Village, sponsored by the University of Mount Olive. Here you will find fine art, paintings, pottery and glasswork, jewelry and more! You can watch live demonstrations, purchase products, and learn about different crafts. The Artisan Village is located on the corner of East Main and Center Streets.

Join Lane & Associates Family Dentistry this Saturday, October 7th from 9am-4pm in Erwin, NC for the Annual Denim Days!

Denim Days brings the entire community together to commemorate its prestigious past with concerts, performances, and a parade. Local and outside vendors showcase crafts and foods. Contests and pageants feature area talent and accomplishments from the “Baby Denim Contest” to collectible cars and vintage automobile displays. Kids enjoy rides and slides, carnival-type games, and, of course, cotton candy and elephant ears. Denim Days is also a time to “bump into” old friends and schoolmates from years past.

So, put on your favorite pair of blue jeans and come join us! No matter if you come for the activities, or you come for the people, you’ll be sure to find smiles and friendly faces everywhere!

Come on out and visit Lane & Associates Family Dentistry during the 18th Annual Caniac Carnival at the PNC Arena in Raleigh on Sunday, September 17th from 10am-3pm! Lane & Associates will have a booth with fun prizes on our FREE prize wheel and a drawing to win a Bluetooth Toothbrush, valued at over $200!

The Caniac Carnival takes place each year before the start of the season. The Carnival takes over the outside and inside of PNC Arena and features activities for fans of all ages, typically including a free Hurricanes Red-White scrimmage, an autograph session with Canes players, food trucks, 20-plus inflatable rides, interactive games and booths, a kid’s zone, sports area, live music, appearances by Stormy and the Pepsi Storm Squad, discounted food & beverage and much more!

Cary Laze Daze is an annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Cary NC dedicated to bringing artistic awareness to our community and allowing patrons to walk through the festival to find that special item for their home or life. Lane and Associates is a proud Presenting Sponsor for this year’s Cary Lazy Daze Festival and hopes to continue to sponsor this festival for many years to come.
