Lane & Associates Family Dentistry prides itself on being involved in our local communities and truly listening to our patients’ needs. In our Southern Pines/Pinehurst Area dental office, our team knew that we not only needed a new location to better serve our patients but also a wider range of services.

Therefore, we moved to our newly renovated office which actually used to be the old Chamber of Commerce building and began adding our Child’s First Dental Visit program! Dr. Raleigh Wright was recently interviewed to ask about the new location and give more details about what Lane & Associates Family Dentistry offers in the Southern Pines NC area.

Amy: Hi, it’s Amy and I’m with Star 102.5 and we are back again to present our Annual Vital Signs program to you. Today I’m speaking with Dr. Raleigh Wright, who is the CEO and dentist for over 25 years, here at Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in Southern Pines. Dr. Wright, tell me about the services that are offered here at the office.

Dr. Wright: We offer everything from a Child’s First Dental Visit where we make it happy and fun for them all the way up to Adults and elderly people helping them with maintaining their teeth and their smiles for a Lifetime. We offer all services from Orthodontic care to Oral Surgery needs, implant dentistry, we just got our new CADCAM Dentistry which offers same-day crowns (These are one-visit crowns instead of having to come back for two visits). So, we’re pretty much a one-stop shop for all of your dental needs.

Amy: So when we talk about Lane & Associates Family Dentistry, it really is a Family Dentistry practice. What’s the age that you recommend parents start to bring in their little ones for that First Dental check-up?

Dr. Wright: So around 3 years old is usually the standard but if you have a small child or a baby under the age of 3 years old that looks like they have some needs, we are more than happy to see them! Many of our offices are actually in the process of adding Baby Oral Exams.

Amy: One of the new features of your website is that new patients can register online. So whether it’s 3 o’clock in the afternoon or 3 in the morning and somebody decides that they need to come in to see you or one of the other providers, they can hop on that website and do a new patient registration. Which is very very convenient.

Dr. Wright: Yes, and you can fill out all of the paperwork so it can save you some time here as well.

Amy: Absolutely! That’s right. Any New Patient specials going on?

Dr. Wright: So right now we are offering New patients that come in for their first cleaning and initial visit – the Quip Toothbrush. Which is a popular trending innovation in electric toothbrushes and everybody is in love with it. So you get that for Free if you are a new hygiene patient with us. We also are offering orthodontic patients, a Waterpik water flosser after new ortho treatment.

Amy: So speaking of Orthodontics, that’s something that’s relatively new to Lane & Associates and you see all ages for Orthodontics, from children up to Adults.

Dr. Wright: Yes, you’d be surprised how many adults want to get their teeth straight again if they didn’t wear their retainers after they had their braces on back in high school.

Amy: Yup, when mom and dad got on them and said, “Wear your retainer!” And so Invisalign is also another option?

Dr. Wright: Absolutely, yes.
