Congratulations to Dr. Raleigh Wright!

On Monday, August 5th Dr. Raleigh Wright was sworn into office as an officer for the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners. We are so proud of his amazing accomplishment and look forward to his term as an officer! Take a peek at some of our photos and videos of the induction below.

So, what is the NC State Board of Dental Examiners?

The purpose of the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners is to ensure that the dental profession merit and receive the confidence of the public and that only qualified persons be permitted to practice dentistry and dental hygiene in the state of North Carolina.

Other functions of the Dental Board:

  1. The administration of Licensure Examinations for dentists and hygienists.
  2. The promulgation of rules and enforcement of laws and regulations governing the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in this state.
  3. The issuance and renewal of licenses to dentists and dental hygienists.

Check out our Fayetteville Office updates!

We love the new Fayetteville office updates to our Lane Fayetteville location. Our goals were to improve the aesthetics at the office and give our Fayetteville kid patients some fun areas to enjoy while they wait for their appointments. We also installed new lobby furniture and updated the Lobby check-in area. Check out the photos below!

Our updates have already been a big hit with our Fayetteville area patients and we hope to keep improving. Some other updates have been our dental chairs, our X-ray machine, and our front lobby check-in counter!

Our office now has a brand new Kids Station

Check out the Latest CBCT Magazine Issue!

Our Dental Sleep Medicine & TMJ department including Practice Manager Mallory Harris, Dr. Andy Ciesielski, Dr. Mike DesRosiers, and Dr. Don Lane presented information regarding Sleep Apnea and TMJ treatment to CBCT Magazine in their June 2019 Issue.

Read about the latest information regarding CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Technology) which is a way by which our doctors can more easily evaluate a key factor in Obstructive Sleep Apnea, which is the airway itself. According to Dr. Ciesielski, utilizing CBCT can be, “a game-changer for the dental sleep clinician who is willing to implement the technology in their day to day practice.”

TMD (Temporomandibular Disorder) and Sleep Apnea can often go undiagnosed. This new CBCT system is very beneficial to the patients themselves. According to Mallory Harris, this gives something tangible that patients can visualize. Lane & Associates prides itself on being on the forefront of advanced dental & medical technology which includes our CBCT scans. According to Dr. Don Lane, “A large part of our practice is treating TMD associated disorders…Since we have added the CBCT in our office I feel that we have the ability to really fill in the blanks for these patients and show them a beautiful 3D presentation of exactly what is going on with them.”

We are very excited to announce our new location in Snow Hill NC is now open!

Previously owned by Cheryl Carraway DDS, Lane & Associates Snow Hill will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 8:30am-5pm for all of your dental needs. Our very own Dr. Neitzey will be starting at this new office on Tuesday, July 16th.

Our Spring cleaning turned into Summer cleaning but we raised some funds along the way!

Since the original Yard Sale date was rained out TWICE, we were so happy to finally hold our Warehouse yard sale benefitting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Staff at each of our dental offices donated items ranging from clothes to toys to large kitchen gadgets to help us raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund on Saturday, June 22nd. We are so thankful for the entire Fuquay-Varina community for showing up to our Warehouse Yard Sale and graciously donating to a cause dear to our hearts!

Our dental staff put out yummy snacks and drinks for sale while participants came to shop. They also helped many folks carry large items to their vehicles. Not to mention the hours of labor leading up to the event – through arranging transport from far away offices like Winston-Salem or tagging each toy with price tags. We are so grateful for our team!

It’s benefitting Kay Yow Cancer Fund once again to help us complete our goal of raising $50,000! Ever wondered what Girl Power is?

Look no further than the Girl’s World Expo!! This year Lane & Associates Family Dentistry had the pleasure of being Presenting Sponsors for the Raleigh NC 2019 Girls World Expo at the Hilton Raleigh in North Hills on May 19th. Girls World Expo is a day-long event created BY local teen girls FOR local teen girls – the local Raleigh Girls Advisory Board is made up of teens from Raleigh who have created this unique show! These girls have also worked closely with their local media partner, to fill the day with seminars, performances, demonstrations, and vendors that serve needs in the Raleigh area!

Starting off the day with a bang was the welcome and Girls of Merit Award Ceremony where local Raleigh girls were recognized for their many achievements in the community. Our very own Social Media Manager, Alicia Wilson, spoke at the brunch to give our sincere congratulations to the girls. Check out the beautiful stars who were chosen as this year’s Raleigh Girls of Merit below!

Included in the day’s events were musical and dance performances by a variety of female artists, singers, and dance groups. Miss North Carolina USA and Miss North Carolina Teen USA were also in attendance along with a wonderful panel of strong female leaders in their industry. Exhibits and Workshops including Robotics, Tae Kwon Do, Wood Sign painting, STEM projects, Fashion Shows, and Vision Boards for Success were scattered throughout the expo. The attendees also had a chance to attend sessions such as “Using LinkedIn to Obtain Scholarships and Internships”, “Walking in My Womanness”, and “The Achievement Mindset” while also hearing from the Fearless Female panel. This panel included such names as Dr. Jo Allen (President of Meredith College), Carnela Renee Hill (CEO of CR Hill Design Group LLC) and Dina Schweisthal (Founder/Owner of KNACK DIY Craft Studio).

Many of the attendees also had opportunities to win prizes, interact with vendors at the Exhibitor Marketplace, enjoy the Live Music and Entertainment while also learning new & exciting trends for females! From Comic book graphics to Science & Tech, the future is female and we at Lane & Associates are proud to sponsor events such as the Girls World Expo that breathe life to the true foundation of a healthy happy journey for women at every age. Thank you for coming out to spend time with us and we hope to see you at next year’s event!
